Gateway
to the Garden State: The Admiral Wilson Boulevard
Property Acquisition and Redevelopment Plan
The mission was to provide valuation support for
a major redevelopment project with national visibility.
Faced with a very aggressive time line for achieving
the Delaware River Port Authority’s goal to
redevelop the Admiral Wilson Boulevard in advance
of the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia,
Renwick and Associates delivered multiple, high
quality real estate appraisals, machinery and equipment
appraisals, litigation support, market analysis,
and related consulting. Renwick and Associates’
appraisals successfully withstood scrutiny and cross-examination
of property owners’ representation, providing
just compensation to property owners while saving
the client substantial exposure to additional awards,
damages, and fees.
National
Manufacturing Firm
The client needed an objective estimate of the market
value of a potential target company on behalf of
a national manufacturing firm seeking to expand
through acquisitions. Renwick and Associates’
analysis also included a critical evaluation of
the methodology employed by the target company’s
financial experts in estimating value. The result
of our report provided the client a strong foundation
for successful negotiation of a fair purchase price
for all parties based upon complete information
and sound valuation techniques.
International
Industrial Conglomerate
The assignment was to provide real estate appraisals
for multiple locations across eight cities on behalf
of a major national client to support a fast-track
corporate restructuring. Renwick and Associates
delivered real estate appraisals that enabled the
client to accurately allocate value for the transfer
of assets while satisfying IRS criteria for tax
purposes. Our thorough and detailed analyses yielded
additional benefits to the client in the form of
enhanced risk management of real property assets. |
