Real Estate Appraisal Courses
Fall 2009
Renwick and Associates, the only real estate appraisal school in southern New Jersey approved by the New Jersey Board of Real Estate Appraisers, is offering the following real estate appraisal courses. Overview:
On January 1, 2008, residential pre-licensing requirements will be 150 hours of classroom instruction in real estate appraisal, 2,000 experience hours in no fewer than 12 months, review of appraisal experience, and successfully completing the state examination. The following courses meet pre-licensing and pre-certification requirements. All courses have received approval of the voluntary Course Approval Program (CAP) of the Appraisal Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation through application by Hondros Learning.
In addition, the following academic requirements must be met: for licensed residential appraiser, high school diploma or equivalent; for certified residential appraiser, associate’s degree or 21 semester credit hours in specified subjects; for certified general, bachelor’s degree or 30 semester credit hours in specified subjects.
