Joseph C. Rahman,CTA

Joseph C. Rahman is an Associate with Renwick and Associates. Mr. Rahman is involved on a daily basis with assignments dealing with various litigation matters, including condemnation proceedings and tax appeals. Mr. Rahman also works in the firm’s machinery and equipment appraisal department, where he assisted clients in GASB 34 compliance and continues to assist in related services. He is one of the firm’s key leaders in the mass appraisal and inspection department. Mr. Rahman is an expert in research, sketching, inspection, review, and reporting. His research work is instrumental to the company’s real estate and machinery and equipment appraisers in completing their assignments. Mr. Rahman is actively undertaking professional education courses in the field of real estate appraisal, which will lead to State Certification as a general real estate appraiser.

 

EDUCATION:

Mr. Rahman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey where he majored in Biology. He attended Burlington County College, where he obtained post baccalaureate hours in business administration studies and has performed graduate work at Stanford University in the sciences.

Mr. Rahman has assisted Mr. Renwick with overall management for the following revaluations or re-assessments (year of implementation is in parentheses). Overall management included initial planning; creating the RFP; planning and leading the public meetings; planning the inspection program, notification letters, informal hearings, and establishing final value conclusions.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:

Mr. Rahman is licensed in the State of Florida as a Real Estate Salesperson and is accumulating hours required for the State of New Jersey Real Estate Appraiser license.

CIVIC ACTIVITIES:

Mr. Rahman has served as a director on youth sports associations and coaches youth football. He is involved with his church ministries.
